Daniel comes from a consulting background with KPMG for seven years. He was head hunted by Westpac to head up the global risk management desk and work with the dealers in understanding the impact of trading strategies.

Subsequently as a partner with Infact Consulting, a specialist information technology firm which targets the effective use of applications and systems within Banks. Some of the Infact Consulting engagements included evaluating and contracting the treasury risk management platform for St George Bank and ANZ.

Daniel has had numerous groundbreaking engagements. He lead multiple teams nationally in positioning American Express as a premier service provider. Principally responsible for pitching and closing large procurement solutions involving the entire supply chain from procurement to payment.

At Optus, Daniel developing an electronic community of interest for the exchange of payments between iconic Australian brands and their supplier community using a portal to facilitate the exchange of payment and registration information.  Daniel was responsible for facilitating a working agreement between Optus and Citibank for the provision of vendor financing.

Daniel lead the applications and services team into the banking and insurance sectors for Sybase. He led sales teams and launched new products into the Australian market.  This involved speaking at conferences, organising partner channels and in generally taking charge of the sales function.
